Media & the culture... now-a-days

" Everyday " is a first day for one or the other thing/s in life.

Today, 28.01.2009 Tuesady, is my FIRST DAY in Blogging in my life and an introduction to BLOGING.

I would like to jot-down my feelings about the India and its development, along with the past and present scenarios of all the fields, known to me. I don't know, whether I am right or wrong, but I want to write something, which may help in CHANGING my India.

I would like to talk something about our electronic-media, in Karnatak, India.

Now-a-days, this media has become very worst in the way they read the news. If you sit infront of the TV, you'll feel like seeing & hearing to " a street-drummer-cum-announcer ". Particularly, in Karnataka TV9 has become worst.

Even the death of a prominent, respectable person is read in the manner of " a street-drummer-cum-announcer ". Yesterday I saw the news at 9pm. It was horrible to hear.

The Mangalore incident of Pub was glorified with background music. For every news they give "High Drama " touch. The music behind the news & the way they announce are really horrible. Particularly, Mr. Bharadhwaj reads the headlines in a "Street Announcer" style.

Why the music is required, when reading a news? Why this 'glorifying' for the attack of "Shri rama sene "?.

Why did the media not inform the Police, when they got information about the attack in Mangalore? They would have took police along with them & avoided such an incident. TV9 always does this mistake.

Even, their other programmes, viz., Warrant, Heegoo Unte and so on, or the worst programmes for Children & ladies in the homes. the way they read, the way they tell/announce, the way they show the pictures/scenes are really spoiling the society. TV9 claims that " TV9 - fao better society", but spoiling the society. For example, if one continues to watch the programmes of such a channel for several years, it will be fed in his/her mind & he/she will also start behaving in the same manners.

The bad thing gets injected fast in our mind than the good one. We nedd several hours/days/months or years to learn a "Mantra" or a "Shloka", but it takes only a few seconds to learn a bad word. The same way, it takes several years to shape-up a Good-Human-Being than a Bad-Human.

What I Feel......,

" If the media continues to share the news with the public in the same manner as is now, one day definitely everybody will take the Law in their hand and the Evil over Good will ride ".
